Growth Opportunities Audit

Category: personal-productivity

Apps Involved: Outlook, Teams, Loop, SharePoint, OneDrive

Complexity: Advanced (5+ apps or chained steps)

Description

Mines your recent communications and work artifacts for honest signals of where you’re falling short — critical feedback, missed follow-ups, stalled work, and patterns worth correcting before your next review cycle.

The Prompt

Search my recent work activity and surface evidence of where I have opportunities to improve.

1. **Email** — Search Outlook for emails sent to me or about me in the last [TIME_PERIOD] that contain critical feedback, concerns, complaints, escalations, or unanswered requests. Include the sender, date, and a one-line summary of the issue raised.

2. **Teams chats** — Search my Teams messages and channel mentions for the last [TIME_PERIOD] for moments where I was asked to do something and didn't respond, where my work was questioned or pushed back on, or where decisions moved forward without me. Note any messages where I was @mentioned but never replied.

3. **Meeting transcripts** — Review transcripts from meetings I attended in the last [TIME_PERIOD]. Identify: moments where my input was challenged, corrected, or set aside; commitments I made that I haven't visibly followed up on; meetings where I spoke very little or didn't show up.

4. **Work signals** — Look for indirect gaps: documents I own that haven't been updated in months, files I authored that nobody opened, threads where I was the bottleneck, action items assigned to me with no evidence of progress, or projects where my name appears less often over time.

Compile results into a Growth Opportunities Audit with these sections:

- **Direct Critical Feedback** (explicit concerns or pushback, with source and date)
- **Dropped Threads** (asks I didn't respond to, commitments I didn't close out)
- **Recurring Themes** (patterns in what's being flagged — communication, follow-through, quality, depth, visibility)
- **Blind Spots** (places where the data suggests an issue I may not have noticed)
- **Suggested Focus Areas** (3-5 specific behaviors I could change in the next [TIME_PERIOD])

Be direct. Don't soften findings. I want the unvarnished picture.

Expected Outcome

A candid, evidence-backed audit of weak spots across your M365 footprint — useful before a self-review, a 1:1 with your manager, or a quarterly reset. Each finding cites the source so you can verify and respond.
